Absolutely outright against human rights and rights to self protection. It is a disgrace to even have thought up passing a bill as ridiculous as this in a time where law abiding South Africans are in a fight for their lives. This bill should be fought tooth and nail.
After the recent memory of events of Zimbabwe and Venezuela, I hope to see civil disobedience pushed to the next level. Even in New Zealand after horse-face banned AR15's, only 800 of tens of thousands have been handed over.
People have the right to defend themselves and there property. Why not? How can you trust anyone who would try to pass a bill like this? Yes a disgrace indeed!
